The featured competition of Széchenyi István Memorial was the closing two rounds Grand Prix. 49 riders qualified to the final of 145 cm Gold Tour.
After the first round, the top 12 horse and rider pairs, among them 5 Hungarians, competed in the second round. There was only one double clear rounds, so the last year’s winner Andrej Holly from Slovakia claimed the gold podium again. His horse Quintana started his career in Hungary and is still owned by Hungarian Tamás Makay. Congratulations!
Zoltán Czékus on Kempo Cento finished second with only time penalty. The world famous horse breeder and rider, Rene Tebbel with the fastest four fault score captured the third place of the Grand Prix. Balázs Horváth, who finished fourth on Zordon last year repeated his performance this time on PM Chaccera.
Three others riders, Bulgarian Angel Niagolov, Igor Sulek from Slovakia and the Hungarian Tamás Mráz on Cariba Dam collected 4 penalty points as well.
